Very professional and reasonable pricing. I had 4 different estimates--2 from very well known... vendors that were either ridiculously priced or playing the game of "let's see what my manager can do to bring down the price". I had a very good experience of consulting Distinct Window Fashions in their Richmond hill... location when I needed blinds, curtains and drapes on various windows of my new apartment. Charlene was very easy to deal with and took time to show and explain the various types of blinds I could use for both light and heat limitation on my west-facing windows. They have hundreds of sample materials for curtains and drapes and Charlene was very patient as I went through many of them. I'd recommend this business without hesitation.read more

few months ago, they installed beautiful blinds in my house. This time, we needed new carpet on... stairs, hallway and 3 bedrooms (including closets). 3 weeks ago I came to Distinct Window Fashions for my daughter bedroom. It’s a beautiful bay... window on the 3rd floor. I was not sure what would work the best and I had been to another company who recommended roller blinds but the staff at Distinct Window Fashions took the time to advise me about the product and the fact that it would let a lot of light through the gaps! We came across Distinct Window Fashions Drapery Blinds by chance when looking for a place to do... custom drapery for our living room windows. After having visited numerous stores, we were ready for the typical responses when we went in. However, Charlene and Danny immediately impressed us by providing unique suggestions that we had not thought of before based on our description of the space. It goes without saying that we were very happy with their range of fabrics and hardware, and their prices were beyond reasonable. Distinct Window Fashions Drapery Blindswas a dream to do business with. I had been searching for... someone to reupholster an antique love-seat but no one was getting back to me. I found Classic and Charlene had me in the next day to pick fabric. She knew I wanted the piece done by a certain date and it was ready on time with a week to spare. I can't say just how amazing Charlene was to do business with. She was extremely patient, showed me... ever possible option because I was asking for the impossible and we ended up with beautiful blinds. I decided after the fact that wanted to add some diffusion screens in behind the blinds and she helped me figure out a way to make that happen without having to change the cassette that I had originally chosen. So pleased. I had been to 3 other blind stores before seeing her and was blown away at how many more options there were in the same Hunter Douglas lineup that had not been offered up by the others. Charlene is very detailed and gives you what you want. Knows her stuff and backs up her product... immediately. If there are any defects they will looked after promptly without argument Trust her judgement. I wasn't sure what way to go. Curtains or shutters? We chose shutters. 5 large windows with shutters.
